Dual mode

Frequently asked questions
01 What load and how many people can it carry at once?
In hoist mode (materials only): up to 850 kg. In transport platform mode (people and materials) up to 500 kg / 5 people, distributed as: 400 kg + 1 person, 300 kg + 2 people, 200 kg + 3 people, 100 kg + 4 people or 0 kg + 5 people (including the platform operator). An overload mechanism blocks movement if the maximum load is exceeded.
02 What speed does it reach?
An ascent speed of approximately 12 m/min when controlled from the cabin (personnel transport) and 24 m/min when controlled from outside in hoist mode. In the lower safety zone the speed is limited to 12 m/min.
03 Are they certified to carry people?
Yes. The equipment complies with the EN 16719:2014 standard for construction transport platforms, with an EC-type examination issued by TÜV SÜD (notified body 0036) and compliance with RD 1644/2008. We handle the paperwork, the inspection (ITV) and provide the installation certificate signed by a technician.
04 What safety protections does it include?
A safety-catch system that brakes in the event of excessive speed, an emergency stop at each control station, a mandatory roof for personnel transport, ground fencing of 1.10 m or 2.00 m, a floor safety gate with electromagnetic interlock and redundant limit switches.
05 What maintenance is included in the rental?
Monthly preventive maintenance throughout the works: inspection of cables, brakes, safety systems and lubrication. Faults covered with same-day technical response.
06 Can it be installed on a scaffold?
Yes. We assemble a scaffold structure specifically sized to support the hoist, anchored to the façade or to the building structure.
